So you want to know some more about us? Established in 1990, YWAM Cymru/Wales is dedicated to seeing Wales reached for Christ. We do this through a number of ways: By joining in with what God is already doing here - and trust us, there is no shortage By establishing new and exciting ministries in full cooperation with the local church that God has placed here By running training (such as DTS) right here in Wales - to give a heart to those who will be called here full time The team is currently based in Wrexham, North Wales, but we operate right across the nation in all sorts of ways and often in cooperation with other movements. For example: We work with local based ministries right here in Wrexham, such as Streetpastors, Feeding the Roofless, Church training, Youth Work, Healing on the Streets, and lots more. We work regionally across the whole of North Wales involved in projects that bring training and encouragement to Youth Workers or by taking Welsh speaking dramas into most of the primary schools in the North. We work nationally, cooperating with others in initiatives such as seeking to resource over 100 young and emerging leaders or involving ourselves in prayer for our nation at our Government Assembly. This is just a snapshot of who we are and what we do. There is more that we could do - and more that we are in planning to do.
